In October 2020, Gustave Demoen found a piece of paper in his mailbox with a finder’s note for a lost cat. The cat had been missing since May 2. So the piece of paper was probably lost itself, the colors of the photo in the meantime completely gone and the cat no longer recognizable. The cat was probably named after the wizard from The Wizard of Oz. After weeks of wandering on his desk, this Ozzy became a symbol for all lost cats because of the unrecognizable but therefore universal image of a lost cat.
As often happens in searches for missing persons, he made a T-shirt of Ozzy. These T-shirts, spread over a long period of time, were placed in various thrift stores around the city of Ghent.
