A Mountain BreezeHandcrafted inflatable scale model of the Etna in transparant plastics

Re-invited by EARC (Etna Arts & Research Center) een-twee (Janes Zeghers & Gustave Demoen) was asked to make a new work which  would function as a sequel to the work they made in Catania. Een-twee  fantasized about a sculpture that would chase the attending visitors out of the exhibition space. This idee culminated into an inflatable miniature Etna. When lying empty on the floor, it resembled merely a pile of plastics. But suddenly the air blower kickstarted and blew sound and  air into te sculpture. Slowly the mountain grew into its full blown form,  making spectators flee into the street…
